Poems of Life and Love

Life is one of perceptions,
Like pretending to be real when fake,
Better to be beyond deceptions,
And make reality your stake.

It's not God who condemns,
Though He does chastise,
Our consciences convict us,
When we open our ears and eyes.
The glory of the gospel,
Is what it inspires,
When we respond to God,
Our hearts He fires.
Hearts lit and aflame for The Lord: an undeniable movement of repentance, as we turn back to God for the glory of His name. Being convicted can seem such a threat, but it always leads to life!

A health concern
Is horrible to learn
In all kinds of different ways.
All we can do
Is manage our bodies true
Praying for peace all our days.
When we pray our circumstances don't change, but our view of them does. Health concerns can bury us in anxiety, which leads to fatiguing depression. But when we pray, seeking peace, God gives us a new porthole through which to look.

Something as a parent I always love doing:
Watching and enjoying my kids' learning,
That's always been my hope for them,
That they never lack their life yearning.
Our passions sustain us. Just so much desire in me for my children to find and do work they love doing.

Enjoying the simpler things,
Like music, movement, and the Messiah,
There, there is life in what God brings,
As hearts are lit and passions are afire.
Opening up to the possibilities for life and joy, beyond many varietals of spiritual oppression, is simply surrendering to the vast world of creation available to the open eye of the heart.

Too much of our lives we spend
Wanting to be someone else
When all God asks us is to
Be content to know our self.

As two become one,
Their love is found unique,
What they will become,
Is truly something complete.
Think of love as an unrefined perfection; what God can do for two imperfect people as they agree to submit to one another for the marriage's sake. Love is willing sacrifice. Love is God's answer: one human being to another.

If I'm concerned for you,
Because God's given me
Reason to be,
Let me care for you,
Provided I protect your dignity

Love Poems Elements to Include in Love Poem

In A Promise and Clothes of Time: I still miss the bone
s of your hands, those lips that rocked my ribs, those gaze that skinned the metamorphosis of my flesh. These are lines from my work. This is one example of a contemporary love poem.

Love poems usually convey emotions and subjectivity. Some are sung and go under the classification of the Lyric. According to Paul Landis and Entwistle (The Study of Poetry, 1929 Tomas Nelson and Sons), lyric poems can be a poetic cry from the heart. They express a single emotion, could be short, musical metrically or verbally, or both.

Master poets in lyric and love are Shakespeare, Milton, Neruda, Lorca, Auden, Pushkin, Rilke, Plath, Maya Angelou, Dylan, Frost, Hass, Yeats, Eliot, Donne and more.
From Wikipedia could be found more courtly poems about knights and nobility.

Hence, its wistful and haunting loveliness eludes all tests!
Professor Albert Casuga said "Those who can write love poems could be better poets."
Online, check Rumi, Poem Hunter, and Poems About for examples.

Love poems must let the mind see the lines in action. Moments of absence and separation, invitations, activities, conversations on life, ardent reflections, or triumphs or loss of a lover are expressed vividly in words with characters in peaks of emotion or drama.

In my poems, I could hardly imagine how I did it. In first drafts, they were written spontaneously, as if I did not want to stop. Revisions could be made after the draft, though most of the time I submitted them sooner without revisions. They are still open to re-working.

Check "Memphis Ferry." This is a sample of John Foster "On Translating Hieroglyphic Love Songs." I got this sample because of my fondness of water phenomenon. The Memphis Ferry happens in twilight, in a mystical communion with the triad of gods who watch over. One character is Hathor, the Egyptian goddess of love. She functions in the Lyric as the Greek Aphrodite.

Lines say"...blossoms newborn in the blue lotus. Twilight is heavy with gods
Finally, the inspiration (muse) in a love poem is tremendous. Perhaps, it is by the gods or deep from the heart that no logic or intellect can ever elucidate.

Love Loves to Love

What do you find in your self?
Love is
Not in body, neither in facial expression
Not in touch, neither in feelings
It finds itself
In its inner-self

There are many empty spaces to be filled.
There are many lives to be heard.
There are many stories to be discussed.
Since an individual is deeply rooted in his own problems
Finds no time
To share, other' love, and to show his kindness

Love remains and will remain forever
No matter what, no matter where
No matter who, no matter whatsoever
The meaning is sacred that nothing else is needed.
Continue your adventure on it because there is no other path to follow but to love. There is no other passion except the passion to feel its presence.

As summer is approaching and leaves are fostering,
Life will ease out with less pain
And solve the crisis with more gain
But, life goes on
Not without it

There are many poets
Romantic and there will be many
Before or after
These people are destined to prose their story
On, about; "for and without"
love

I am not marketing love since it is never meant to be marketed.
I am not preaching love since it is above all preachers.
I am not writing anything about it because it cannot be written fully.
Any words written on love is not, "the end" since the love is always, "the beginning".

There were four words used in Joyce Ulysses when he said,
"Love loves to..."
It can be used in many parts of the speeches.

Religious scriptures constantly remind you

To love thy neighbour'
To bless all those peacemakers"
"To find joy in whatever you do, wherever you do it and whatever you do"

Love starts with life and ends with life.
There is only one life and in that one life, it has to be understood.
From others, from your action, deeds, prayers

I think I am boring you by writing nothing but love and I know that too much exaggeration on love is not all that is required.

What is required is your loving heart.
What is required is your peace of mind and body.
What is required is your heart filled with compassion and selfless respect.
What are required are your inner instincts to love fellow human soul, body and mind.
What is required is not any speech that dives deep into oceans of love for mere seconds but bright blue open sky that shines and brings energy in your soul, every moment of your life.
What is required is your ultimate loving heart.
Thus, love loves to...
